Holiday Series Event - Independence Day

On Friday, July 18, 2008 at 9:30 a.m., the Information Resource Center (IRC) of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul will hold its Holiday Series Program in honor of U.S. Independence Day. Patrick Linehan, Minister-Counselor for Public Affairs of the U.S. Embassy will give a keynote speech on the topic, “Born on the 4th of July.” The festivities will continue throughout the day with performances by USFK 8th Army brass band, U.S. trivia quizzes and prizes, and a practical speech by Mr. Steven B. McKinney, President of McKinney Consulting Inc. on “Effective Job Searching and Career Development.” Consecutive interpretation will be provided.

This program is free of charge and is open to the public. Media are welcome to attend.
