The U.S. Embassy is located across the street from Sejong Cultural Center and next to the Ministry of Information and Communication/KT Building on subway line 5 (purple), exit 2. The Embassy is about a 15-minute taxi ride from the Itaewon area, depending on the traffic.

Please be aware that we DO NOT have a parking lot available for the public.

If You Are Visiting

• American Citizen Services (ACS)
  Please use the front entrance of the Embassy, which is located on the main road. American Citizen Services is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m., and again from 1:30-3:30 p.m. We are closed on Wednesdays and on both U.S. and Korean holidays. Telephone inquiries are accepted daily from 9:00-10:00 a.m.and 3:30-4:30 p.m.
  
  
• Immigrant Visa (IV) branch or Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS)
  Please use the side entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor.
  

• Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) branch for an interview
  Please use the side entrance and proceed the the 1st floor. Emergency applications and visa correction cases may go directly to Window #1 on the 1st floor.
